Hello! I'm Natasha Heinz, a bilingual journalist with nine years of experience in the field. My areas of expertise include feature writing, copy editing and social media strategies. You will find my resume and writing samples under the assorted headings above.
I have a master’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from Kent State University and currently work as a reporter at the Greene County Messenger in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania.
Previously, I was the senior copy editor and arts reporter for Larson Newspapers, based in Sedona, Arizona. I was also a part-time news writer at Alternative Press magazine from 2017 to 2019 and worked as a social media strategist at the Office of Global Education at Kent State University.
Regardless of the medium, my main goal is to always create content I am excited about. That has different meanings depending on the situation --from curating social media content that will boost engagement to doing the best possible reporting news story that will inform readers to writing an in-depth feature about a subject.
For more information about where I have been and where I plan to go, send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org and let's talk!
